Ham Radio Amateur Radio has been my longest standing hobby. I attribute this to many good friends. As a youth I was fascinated by radio, but didn't know anyone who was involved with it. Many years later I decided to pursue the hobby and have had a great deal of fun with it. I was originally licensed in 1997 as KC7WRR. My first license was as a Technician Plus, meaning that I had passed the Morse Code element and had limited HF privileges.I soon moved on to General, and in 2002 passed my Extra Class License. Among my many good friends, I'll mention a few. The first is my Elmer, Gordon Smith, K7HFV who has been more than patient in helping through me with my many projects. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Clint Turner, KA7OEI who has also been a great friend and most helpful. Some of the links that I think are worth visting are: Utah Amateur
Radio Club
Here are some of my areas of interest: ARRL Official Observers Program
